Ron was one of the "founding fathers" of integrated catchment management in Victoria. His legacy was to help establish the RBMS and, as Treasurer, Vice-President and President for over 20 years, provided a sound financial footing and resulted in the establishment of the Catchments Australia Foundation. It was an honour to have worked with him. The members and friends of the River Basin Management Society (RBMS) mourns the passing of Ron Hodges. We sent our condolences to his wife, Gwen, and all his family. The RBMS was well represented at Ron's Funeral (held last Tuesday), he had a life well lived.
